Discover a fresh take on comfortable living at Cedar Place, where modern conveniences meet a peaceful neighborhood setting just minutes from Nashville in easy reach of Interstate 65. Nestled among mature trees, this inviting community offers the perfect balance of tranquility and accessibility, and also the opportunity for residents to own a part of where they live. We are currently in the process of working with residents to convert this community into a Limited Equity Housing Cooperative. As a resident, you will become part of a neighborhood corporation where members collectively own and democratically control the entire housing complex—not just individual units. As a resident at Cedar Place, each member has the rights of a home-owner and votes to make decisions for the entire development. You'll be able to participate in governance of a permanently affordable housing development. Please note: Cedar Place is an income-qualified community. Households must meet income eligibility requirements within 60%–80% of the Area Median Income (AMI), based on household size. All new residents must also be willing to become cooperative members and participate in the required cooperative education. Choose from thoughtfully designed one- and two-bedroom apartment homes ranging from 506 to 690 square feet with washer/dryer connections. Beyond your front door, Cedar Place offers a community designed for ease and enjoyment, with an on-site dog park, responsive on-site maintenance, and ample parking. The pet-friendly atmosphere and serene surroundings make it easy to feel right at home. This project funded in part by the Barnes Affordable Housing Trust Fund of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville & Davidson County. This housing opportunity is open to all income-eligible individuals regardless of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status, disability, sexual orientation, or gender identity. Accommodations available upon request.
