I’ve noticed that many reviews of Lantern Cove Apartments tend to be negative, but I believe good work and service deserve recognition as well.
I've been living at Lantern Cove for about a year now, and overall, I’m very happy with the experience. The location is fantastic, with plenty of parks and a beautiful lagoon nearby. We love the environment and hope to stay for years to come if the rent remains stable. For a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment, additional costs for trash, water, and sewer come to about $300, which seems typical for Foster City—no complaints here.
Recently, I submitted a service request for a dishwasher repair and was impressed by the quick response. Within an hour, I received messages from Charlo on the Service Team and Mangala from the Management Team, both asking for permission to enter the apartment and resolve the issue. The maintenance team efficiently replaced the dishwasher’s motherboard, and it now works perfectly. They even followed up with a call to explain the repair, which I really appreciated. The communication was clear and prompt throughout the process. Since our family relies on the dishwasher daily, the timely repair was a huge relief.
I understand that managing 250+ apartment units with a small team is no easy task, but my experiences with the Lantern Cove team have been consistently positive. They do their best to address requests in a timely manner, despite the challenges of handling so many residents. It’s important to remember that with so many units and a small team, prioritization is key, and working together as a community can help resolve issues efficiently.
I highly recommend Lantern Cove to anyone looking for a place in Foster City, especially if you're seeking a safe area with good schools nearby.
I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the incredible team at Lantern Cove Apartments! From the moment we expressed interest in transferring to our new home, they were there every step of the way. Their professionalism and dedication made the entire process seamless. Farokh and Mangala went above and beyond, thet answered all our questions promptly and ensured we felt comfortable during the transition. Moving can be stressful, but thanks to this amazing team, we felt supported and cared for. I highly recommend Lantern Cove Apartments to anyone looking for a wonderful place to call home!

Lantern Cove is a great community, in a beautiful and safe neighborhood. Farokh, Mangala, Nicolas and everyone at the office has been very helpful enabling a positive and pleasant experience during my stay at the Lantern Cove community.
Safe area and good schools nearby, definitely would recommend it for anyone looking to stay in the area.
It was a great experience, the apartments and the environment are beautiful. We were attended by Jadirah, perfect service. She was very attentive and friendly with us.

I am going to move out of Lantern Cove soon because we bought a place but I love this place. .... Our loft is spacious with ample closet and storage space. It’s bright, and green all around and perfect for hiking, biking. It’s like living in a park with ducks, geese and beautiful birds. Very nice and peaceful community. Also management is very helpful and it’s well maintained. I had nothing but good experience there. Shout out for the team for making everything so nice!

Before moving to CA, my husband had already idealized Lantern Cove for us to live in Family. The choice was right, it is gratifying to wake up and see a place of peace and beauty.
I needed maintenance recently and was attended to in hours, very fast.
I also highlight Mangala service, although at first I had difficulty with the language, but then she led and always serves us promptly and affectionately.
