Walk to multiple coffee shops and restaurants, two wonderful parks (Doyle Street and Berkeley Aquatic Park), Iron Works rock-climbing and workout gym, and Berkeley Bowl. One mile to BART (public transit) with free local bus from our block to bring you there. Walking/running paths with Bocce Ball courts for open use. Close to shopping, easy on and off from the freeway. 15 minute drive to San Francisco (we'll tell you the secret to avoiding bridge traffic!), 10 minutes to downtown Oakland or Lake Merritt, 5 minutes to downtown Berkeley. Walk Score: 86. Utilities included: Internet, gas, electricity, garbage, water. Fun Stuff: we have a treadmill that doubles as a walking-desk (see pics :)! Check your email, watch Netflix, surf the web, all while getting a little movement in. We'll also leave our light workout equipment (e.g. yoga mat, weights, rollers, etc.) for you to use. We also have a "Whiteboard Closet" - 3 full walls of whiteboarding, brainstorming, and just plain playing fun. See pics. Living/dining space includes television that can be revealed or hidden, expandable dining table for 8, and large windows with lots of light. The TV is not hooked up to cable at this time.
