You will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. Unfurnished. However, one bedroom is fully furnished, and there are a few pieces of furniture in the rest of the house. This would normally be stored in the attic - can be used by the tenant. Built in 1922. Its old like an antique. It is a true beauty, and it even has electricity and indoor plumbing. I love the tall ceilings, the skeleton key cutouts in the doorknobs, and the excessive solid woodwork: window casings, crown moulding, tall baseboards, attic staircase, hardwood floors, etc. Charming antique fixtures, but can be finicky some of the doorknobs and windows. It has all modern amenities: central air conditioning, heat, WiFi, etc. Gardening encouraged. Regardless of skill level or effort, tulips bloom every year in the planters by the porch. Please consult before digging a ditch or modifications heavier than that. Other things to note - Park in the gravel in the front of the house. - We are renovating; home currently lacks dishwasher. - Tenants are responsible for yard care. - Tenants will not have access to the unfinished basement, except accompanied by technician for HVAC, electrical, or plumbing needs. - Heavily reduced price while we are renovating. After contract, the price will go up to market value (was $1200 in 2025, estimated $1300 in 2027). Financial qualifications will be re-assessed. - Previous tenant was a smoker, so there will be a few months of airing out.
