We live in a 2 bed 1.5 bath townhome at 4507 Holland Avenue in Dallas, one block from a Whole Foods, close to Dallas North Tollway, in a very safe neighborhood. Technically we live in the Oak Lawn neighborhood, but in reality we are two blocks from the Highland Park county line. We are newly responsible as of May and the only reason we are moving is because of my new job in Plano and our desire to buy a home there sooner than we originally anticipated. Our landlord is fantastic and quick to reply and address any needs. Our community is comprised of easy going professionals, families, and retirees. This is not the college aged or newly graduated scene. We havent bought yet but are planning to make an offer on a home sometime this week.
