I'm looking for someone to rent the second bedroom in a 2 br / 1 bath condo in San Luis Obispo starting November 1st. The condo is located near the Broad/Orcutt intersection, close to grocery stores, restaurants, Mindbody, the airport, soccer fields... It's also less than 5 min away by car from downtown SLO, or around 25 min walking. The condo is furnished but the room is empty (no furniture or bed). Its dimensions are 12ft long by 9.5 feet wide, with a big closet and shelving space (additional to the dimensions provided for the room). It can easily fit a big bed and a desk/TV stand. It has 2 windows that provide tons of sun light throughout the day, one of them overlooking the hill right behind the condo. The condo itself is in a quiet and safe complex, and you'd be able to park your car right at the door. There is some storage that you'd be able to take advantage of as well. The laundry is coin-operated and it's located in a building within the complex (20 sec walk from the condo). I'm looking ideally for a young professional, someone respectful, responsible, non-smoking, and very important, someone that cleans after themselves. I have a little dog, he's really friendly, well trained and obedient, so hopefully you like dogs too. Unfortunately no other pets are accepted though. About myself, I'd say I'm a very good roommate, very easy to live with, very clean, friendly and respectful. I'm a male in my mid 30s, work "normal" hours for the most part and stay pretty active and social during the evenings and weekends. I work from home, so I spend most of the time at home in the living room, whether it is at my desk during the day while working, or relaxing watching TV, playing video games or whatever during the night (evenings I'm rarely home). Important stuff: as a requirement from the property manager, in order to move in here you'll need to fill out an application so they can check credit, background, references, etc. You will also have to sign a 1 year lease (it will become month-to-month after) and a roommate agreement. And last but not least, when you move in you'll need to provide the first month rent and half of the deposit ($1,050).  The rent doesn't include utilities (except water, which is included). For the rest, we'll split the cost every month (internet, electricity and gas) when the bills come.
