My fiancé and I lived here in a studio on the top floor for just under 3 1/2 years (since connect opened). I loved the kitchen with all the cabinetry. Washer and dryer with upper storage shelf was very convenient. The highlight of living here is the property management and maintenance. They are so kind, caring, fast acting and have great communication. The building stays is overall great condition and clean. Cleaning staff is also very kind, asking you how your day is in passing. The other tenants here are quiet and well mannered. Connect has a vehicle storage lift system that used to have problems quite often but has been a lot better in the past year. We had several vehicles so parking was a little of a nightmare with half of the street parking being 2 hours only. We accumulated a lot of parking tickets. The halls can be kinda windy. During the winter it’s kinda loud. You can hear things well through the front door but the walls are very well insulated. One thing that isn’t mentioned is we are right next to a train crossing.you will see homeless people walking the tracks but the building itself is very safe with plenty of cameras and locked gates. There are several coffee shops we like to walk to one being across the street and the other (nautical bean) around the corner. Ancient Owl is across the street with occasional food trucks. Behind the connect apartment building is a paved trail (about 2 miles) where you will see runner, cyclist, kiddos, and people walking there dogs. This place is overall a great community and we loved our stay.

This is the third fuller apartment homes complex we’ve stayed in and they’ve never disappointed. Two in Bakersfield and when we moved to SLO we chose CONNECT specifically because they were a fuller apartment homes community and knew they wouldn’t disappoint. The property manager Julie is the kindest and helpful person. She’s always there to make sure you as a resident are taken care of. Timely notices to inform you of any maintenance on units and just a call away for any issue. Once again, Fuller Apartment Homes has lived up to every expectation in finding a comfortable place to call home!
