This downstairs unit has been thoughtfully renovated to provide new amenities while keeping true to its period design statics. All the tenants in the building love their apartments but they are really falling in love with the neighborhood. A large deck facing the front yard welcomes you as you enter the unit. To right there is a fireplace at the center of a rather large size living room that extends into dining area and portion of the kitchen. Try your culinary skills in the newly installed kitchen equipped with a new gas range and refrigerator. Ample storage space throughout. You may optionally get additional storage room (12x12) in the basement. The unit comes with washer and dryer hook ups. There is a working washer and dryer in place now which you may use or you may bring your own. Even though this is a first floor unit there are four to seven steps to the front and back entrances respectively so unfortunately the unit is not wheelchair accessible. The unit has hardwood floors throughout with checkered black and white tiles in the kitchen and bathroom. On street parking. There are usually ample spaces for parking directly in front of the building. Great location with bus stop at front of the property. The property is located on a bike lane street. Easy access to parks, library, collage avenue dinning and shopping, Berkeley bowl and Whole foods, hospital, etc. Close to Berkeley Ashby BART station. The lease is for 12 months but will consider a six month lease. The security deposit is $3000. First month and SD needed before move in. Water and trash collection are included in the monthly rent.
