The time has come for me to move in with my boyfriend. . . and man I must really love him because it's killing me to leave such a fantastic apartment with such a wonderful roommate. WHO: We're looking for a 20something female to live with my roommate, another 20something female and legitimately the NICEST HUMAN BEING I HAVE EVER MET. Like I'm not nice enough to live with her, really. She's super considerate, clean, quiet as a mouse, truly cares about your well-being and happiness, and is smart and a great conversationalist to boot! She is looking for someone equally clean and considerate. She is quiet on weeknights but is more extroverted on the weekends! WHERE: Woodley Park, a 5-minute walk from the Woodley Park metro stop, and a 3-minute walk to the National Zoo. Minutes into Rock Creek Park and from Open City, MacIntyre's, Tono Sushi etc in Woodley as well as Bindaas, Fat Pete's BBQ, Cleveland Park Bar & Grill etc in Cleveland Park. It's basically the best of leafy-cozy-quiet and fun-outgoing-buzzy all in one miraculous neighborhood. WHAT: One bedroom in a large 2-bedroom apartment in a super well-kept apartment building. The room is about 12x17, with bay windows, and TWO sizeable closets in the room, plus a storage/coat closet in the living room. I fit a queen bed, TWO dressers, a night stand, a desk AND two bookshelves in this room and it still feels spacious. HOW MUCH: $1375/month. As for utilities and whatnot, we only pay for internet ($18/per person) and electricity ($30-40 per person most months, up to $50-60 in the summer when the A/C is running all night). Water/gas are included. PERKS: The building has a full-service gym in the basement, so that's one less thing you'll have to pay for. Pay-by-the-load laundry machines & washing machines also in the basement. Sweet roofdeck from which you can see the Washington Monument in one direction and the National Cathedral in another. A responsive maintenance office that answers requests really quickly and addresses issues thoroughly. There would be room to accommodate any living room furniture you might want to bring along. If you have a car, the alley behind the building complex is free city street parking, and I'm almost always able to find a spot back there... basically free parking with a little patience! WHEN: You would be joining a month-to-month lease starting Jan 1, but your move-in date can be flexible anytime in December (December is already paid for so free rent for you!). Your potential future roommate is considering going to grad school in the fall. If she does, you would have the option to begin a brand new one-year lease at that time with a roommate of your choosing, totally up to you. If any/all of this sounds good to you, drop me a line and tell me a bit about yourself! You're welcome to come by and meet us basically any evening this week. We're looking forward to it!

Hello, I'm looking for a nice, fun, young individual to sublet 1 bedroom in a 2 bedroom, fully furnished apartment in Woodley Park, beginning in late July or August 1. The apartment and furniture is very well kept, and quiet as it backs up to the National Zoo. It is just 2 blocks from the Woodley Park Metro stop on the red line, and close to several bus lines, including the Circulator which goes to Adams Morgan, U Street, and 14th Street. The bedroom for sublet has 1 walk in closet and 1 normal closet, a queen size bed, a large dresser, a desk, and a nightstand. All personal effects or additional furniture you may wish to bring are welcome! The building itself has a gym in the basement and rooftop with a beautiful view. I've loved living here the past several years. It's very convenient to DuPont Circle, Adams Morgan, and Cleveland Park -- all of which are just a 10-15 minute walk. Rock Creek Park is just 5 minutes away, and a wonderful place to run or hike, especially over the summer. I'm looking for someone who can stay for 4+ months, the longer the better. The rent is $1375, utilities and internet included! About me: I'm a male in my mid-20s, working downtown in government consulting. I get drinks after work a few times for week, but generally nothing too crazy. On the weekends I like to get out of the apartment, go running, or do some reading. Shoot me a note if you're interested with a few words about yourself. Happy apartment hunting!
