This condo is a steal of a deal. My wife and I would rent it forever but unfortunately we have to relocate for work. We've loved it here. The complex is called Greenwood and it is right at the end of Mt Diablo, where it turns into Walker. It truly is beautiful. There are lots large trees and a lot of natural wild life. There is 1 main large pool with a hot tub, but also a smaller one just outside the door of the building this apartment is located in. The main building, which is adjoined to the large pool/hot tub, also has an exercise room with a few machines and also some free weights. It has some lounge areas and some pool tables as well. Complex and neighbors are quiet. Any needed repairs are taken care of quickly. And the complex is close to EVERYTHING in downtown Walnut Creek. You can walk to Safeway, shops and restaurants on Main St, etc. The apartment itself is 1 bedroom, 1 bath. The kitchen has granite counter tops and a nice stainless steel fridge. There is an AC/heating unit, and an extra heating unit in the bedroom. 2 large closets in the bedroom, and 2 storage closets in the bathroom area. The main room has very tall, sloped ceiling with a window which provides nice daytime light. There is one covered parking spot as well as a parking pass which can be used in the common parking areas, for guests or for a second car. Laundry is just at the end of the hall, and is operated by laundry card. There's also a coin laundry available on the floor below. Unit is available July 1st. Possibly slight before, which can be worked out with the owner, Tim. We are helping him find a new tenant. All rental applications will be going to him, but we are here showing the unit while we still live in it. This will be a 1 year lease. 1 well-behaved pet under 30 pounds is OK.
