From the entrance, this Lake Tahoe-feeling house opens to a generous hallway with a view through the house. From the entry hall, the open floor plan steps down into a large post and beam living room with a 25 foot open beam ceiling with redwood and some bay views from the dining and living rooms. The house has been given a remodel refresh with a new kitchen, skim coated walls, new floors in living room and office, all new baseboards and trim and a fresh paint job, inside and out. The HVAC has been updated to be more energy efficient. The bathroom is remodeled with a double vanity. The windows and sliders in the living room have all been replaced with energy efficient ones. New top-down/bottom up blinds have been installed to maximize light and privacy. There are decks off of the dining room and living room. The location is amazing with easy access to world class shopping just down the hill including Corte Madera Town Center, Corte Madera Mall, Downtown Larkspur and Larkspur Marin Mart near the Larkspur Ferry. It’s an easy commute to the city (including easy access to the Ferry)and hiking trails are right outside your door. At the top of the hill are amazing views of San Francisco and Mt Tam with trails leading to Mt Tam, Mill Valley, San Anselmo, etc. Most of the landscaping is on drip and a regular monthly landscaping is included at no cost . Laundry is free and is shared with a completely separate, currently vacant in-law apartment on the lower level (possibly available for rent in the near future) Paid utilities included are water, garbage and electric, you pay gas only. This property would work best for a single person, couple, or single parent(s) of an older child. I am open to well behaved, socialized, regularly walked pets only. It's not a great property for escape artist dogs or toddlers. Financially secure only.
