Under the thoughtful care of its current owners and a professional designer, this top floor, corner unit located in the heart of the Harper Historic District was both modernized and brought back to its Old Hollywood glamor. Enjoy spectacular views in this light and bright oasis. Both full bathrooms were re-built from the ground up with no expenses spared. Luxury materials and finishes include hand-cut Spanish and Italian tiles (supplied by Mission Tile), a modernist ceramic floating vanity in the primary bath, a heritage restored pedestal sink in the second bath, frameless glass shower doors, and curated design accessories and trims. Door and hardware were updated throughout the unit, and custom high-end window shades were installed on each window. Original, historic construction touches like trim details were retained throughout. The original wainscoting in the formal dining room was restored, as was the spectacular wall-length, floor-to-ceiling window in the living room, which was painted inside and out. The dining room was completed with a Naguchi light fixture, the epitome of mid-century modern cool. Additionally, the central air conditioning and heating was upgraded with new controls, and high-end Design Within Reach ceiling fans were installed in both bedrooms. Luxurious new Bosch appliances (washer, dryer, and dishwasher) were also installed. One covered parking space is included, as well as trash and water.
