Bright and charming two-bedroom two-story home (with unfinished basement and back patio) will be available for new tenants on Sept 1. Enormous living area can fit both a living room and dining room. Kitchen was recently renovated, with stone countertops (including island), dishwasher, gas stove, garbage disposal and refrigerator. Master bedroom fits a bedroom set (queen bed pictured) with ample space to walk around. The smaller bedroom fits a queen bed and would make a great home office, nursery or guest room. An unfinished basement holds a washer/dryer and your storage, and there's a back patio for gardening, grilling and enjoying the night air. Ceiling fans in every room. Subtle details like radiator covers and carved moldings make this house feel like a home. Central air conditioning and heat. The house sits on a friendly tree-lined street just one block from Passyunk Square and its suite of shops, restaurants and bars. (My favorites are B2, Chhaya and the POPE.) You can get anything you need on foot, as there's a hardware store, CVS and Acme within a couple blocks. The square hosts a Farmer's Market on Wednesdays. The Broad Street Line at Tasker/Morris is a 9-minute walk. One block from the 45 bus, which will get you downtown in 15 minutes. (It's a great bus.) I'm the current tenant, and I'm only leaving because I have to move to a new city for work. Since the day I moved in, I joked that I'd never live this well again. I still believe it. Move-in date is Sept 1 (with some flexibility). First, last and security deposit due at signing. $35 per person application fee. Small pets are allowed with landlord approval and additional security deposit. Landlord pays $30 of water bill each month; tenants pay remaining water, electric and gas. We'll be hosting an open house on Sunday August 14 from 1-4m. Please email to let me know you're coming and with any other questions.
