Feel at home in this charming "beachy farmhouse" cottage, nestled under the shade of large live oak trees on James Island. This unique property features 17 ft cathedral ceilings and a loft accessed by a spiral staircase. This spacious cottage offers a fully stocked kitchen with all the essentials, including a live edge slab island bar top. Enjoy comfortable living with a tiled shower featuring a rain shower-head and a detachable shower-head. Entertainment is provided by two flat-screen smart TVs. The property also includes a laundry room, inside and outside seating areas, a grill area, an outdoor shower, and a private hot tub. Guests will appreciate the ample space in the large shady backyard, perfect for playing and entertaining. Beach chairs, an umbrella, a cooler, and a portable speaker are provided for your convenience. Parking is ample for cars, boats, and RVs in the fenced-in 1/2 acre backyard, which is shared with the homeowner and guests of the Island Hideout. Guests also have access to the outdoor grill beside the deck. Guests have exclusive use of the private hot tub. Centrally located in a convenient James Island neighborhood, this cottage is just a 5-mile drive or Uber ride to both Folly Beach and Downtown Charleston. The beautiful James Island County Park is also nearby, along with restaurants, bars, shopping, banking, and convenience stores within a half-mile. Quiet hours are observed from 11:00 PM to 9:00 AM. Road construction is currently underway on the street, which may cause occasional noise and slight traffic disruptions. Smoking is not allowed inside the unit, and there is a fee per day for smoking inside the unit. Events are not allowed. This is a self-check-in property; guests must follow the provided instructions. Failure to follow quiet hours may lead to immediate cancellation of booking without refund. There will be a fee for any unauthorized late check-out. Damages/losses as a result of guest failing to follow the house rules will be the responsibility of the negligent party. Do not use tape or adhesives on any walls or surfaces. Any additional guest will incur an additional fee. Exterior surveillance and noise monitoring devices may be used on the property. Any and all pets must be approved and applicable pet fee paid. Unapproved pets on the property are a violation of house rules and will incur a penalty. No cats allowed. Includes Wi-Fi, and two flat-screen smart TVs.
