About Craigflower Rd & Russell St
Charming 2BR, 1BA character home in the heart of Vic West available October 1 or possibly sooner. This is my own home and I am moving out of province to support a family member. I am hoping to rent the house furnished for now on a fixed term of 8 months to 1 year. After that, it may transition to a month-to-month if desired (and I could remove furnishings if preferred). Currently furnished with quality vintage and modern pieces and lots of art The monthly rent of $3,200 includes all utilities (hydro, gas, water, internet, furnishings, yard maintenance) The approx. 950 square foot home includes a large living room with south-facing window seat and working fireplace; 2 bedrooms each with closet (one can also be set up as an office/den and has a large built-in bookcase); eat-in kitchen dining area; 4-piece bathroom with extra-long clawfoot tub. There is also a 90 square foot backyard studio that makes a great little office in warmer weather and loads of outdoor space: front porch; large back deck; deep yard; raised garden bed. The washer and dryer in the basement are shared with one tenant and parking is available for free on the street The location is great with lots of amenities and shopping nearby and just a 25-minute walk to downtown. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys character properties and is looking for somewhere to land for a while. It could be especially good for an individual or couple relocating to Victoria. I am looking for someone who will respect and appreciate the space while I’m away. As there is a tenant below and it’s an old house, it’s best suited to someone who can tread lightly, live relatively quietly and is okay with old house quirks.
