The Roost A fresh and new, furnished 1,100sf sunny flat with 2 bedroom suites. Great for roomies wanting to share with privacy. Very reliable, fast Wi-Fi mesh system for work or play. Close to a fun, walkable neighborhood with many offerings. Each BR suite has a full bath with tub, TV, sofa group desk, table queen beds and closet. Couples can each have their own closet & full bath. Dining room for 6, and a private patio. Two-cook, well-stocked kitchen with butcher block counters. Small appliances,. Great storage. Laundry. Easy Parking. This large lower unit feels very private, well-insulated and cozy, with a mini-split for heating/cooling throughout. Yet it's fresh with screened, operable windows around all sides, and wonderfully bright because of the very large southern windows that open onto your private patio with fountain. Good dogs are welcome, dog park only blocks away. Fenced backyard. (No cats please.) If you are an artist or artisan, potential for shared creative making space. Let us know if this is of interest! Quiet, but close to major arterials for escape to mountains or coast. It's kinda glorious. But a relaxed easy place to live. Hosts We are two Creatives- textiles, design, music, writing and refinishing- so far. We are setting up 2 studios in the backyard and a shared messier making area in the garage this spring- need a place for your wheel, or jewelry-making? Come play! We've hosted a collective house for over 13 years in two cities. So we know how to welcome you in, get you settled and oriented, and RESPECT YOUR PRIVACY. Neighborhood Very walkable Richmond district off SE Division, one of the most rich and varied Portland neighborhoods. Walk to food stores- Safeway, Trader Joe's, Natural Grocers. And, movie houses, pools and parks, gyms, vintage shops as well as all kinds of eateries. (We have the most ice cream/gelato offerings of any PDX neighborhood - come taste and compare!) For the Creative, there's the Drawing Studio and Wildcraft with wonderful classes! Yet enjoy the quiet of our lovely treed neighborhood for morning strolls. The express FX2 gets you downtown to its culture and amazing Urban parks and fountains, and Portland State (PSU) or downtown Farmers' Market in 20 minutes.
