This 2-bedroom, 1-bath apartment is perfectly located just two blocks north of the Capitol Building, between Boise's iconic foothills and its vibrant downtown. This unique space has been tastefully furnished and is complete with a full kitchen, sleeper sofa, and in-unit washer/dryer. The kitchen includes an electric range, electric skillet, electric kettle, and dishwasher, as well as a refrigerator, extra sheets and bedding, and towels. Kid-friendly amenities are available upon request, including a pack 'n' play and high chair. Please reach out before your stay if you would like to request any of these as they are limited in supply. The location is truly what makes this space unique. The Boise Foothills are the perfect getaway from the city and just a short walk through the VA campus will put you at the Military Reserve trailhead. Just south of the trailhead you will find the Boise Bike Park that offers terrain for riders of all levels. The trail system is expansive. After your ride in our lovely foothills, you can park your bike at the house and walk south down 6th street, through the Idaho Capitol campus, through Cecil Andrus Park, in front of Boise's historic post office and you will come to 8th Street, Boise's restaurant row (about a 10-minute walk). This is the City's hub for fine dining and your access point to Boise's iconic Freak Alley, the largest outdoor mural and graffiti gallery in the Northwest. A small boutique hair salon operates on the first floor. During regular business hours, please keep music and television at a reasonable volume as not to disturb the stylists and their clients below.
