Full of southern rustic charm, this place’s thoughtful furnishings, curated décor, and attention to detail are sure to win you over. The cottage features a fully equipped kitchen, a backyard with a patio and BBQ grill, and sleeps up to 6 guests. This home caters to both short-term and medium-term stays, making it an excellent choice for corporate housing needs. The modern farmhouse kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, cooking essentials, and even coffee to start your day right. The dining room features a spacious table with elegant tableware, while the living area offers vaulted ceilings, an oversized sectional, and a flat-screen TV with high-speed Wi-Fi. Each bedroom is a sanctuary of serenity with plush mattresses, TVs, and matching bedside tables and lamps. The bathrooms are sparkling clean and include essential toiletries. Complimentary parking is available to guests and a laundry room with a washer and dryer is provided. Pets are welcome with a non-refundable pet fee of $150 per pet, with a maximum of 2 pets per stay. Pet cleaning fees apply and pets should be kept off beds and furniture. Located in Grayson County, Texas with a richly diverse history, Sherman is situated only 10 miles south of Lake Texoma, one of the largest reservoirs in the state. Well-known for its champion bass fishing, sailing, camping, and hiking, Sherman lives up to its slogan – “classic town, broad horizon”. Nearby attractions include the Sherman Jazz Museum, Kelly Square, 903 Brewers, and Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge. For those interested in exploring Plano, noteworthy attractions are just a 45-minute drive away. We do not allow parties or large unauthorized gatherings on our property. Smoking of any type is not allowed, with violations subject to a $450 fine plus the cost to clean, deodorize, and repair damages. Check-in is at 4pm and checkout is at 10am. Small low-key gatherings are allowed only upon request and approval in advance. Noise levels are monitored to ensure compliance with local ordinances. The cottage is remote work-friendly with high-speed Wi-Fi and a comfortable living area that can double as a workspace. A laptop computer is not included.
