Each bedroom is a sanctuary of serenity with plush mattresses, TVs, and matching bedside tables and lamps. The bathrooms are sparkling clean and include essential toiletries. Complimentary parking is available to guests and a laundry room with a washer and dryer is provided. Pets are welcome with a non-refundable pet fee of $150 per pet, with a maximum of 2 pets per stay. Pet cleaning fees apply and pets should be kept off beds and furniture. Located in Grayson County, Texas with a richly diverse history, Sherman is situated only 10 miles south of Lake Texoma, one of the largest reservoirs in the state. Well-known for its champion bass fishing, sailing, camping, and hiking, Sherman lives up to its slogan – “classic town, broad horizon”. Nearby attractions include the Sherman Jazz Museum, Kelly Square, 903 Brewers, and Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge. For those interested in exploring Plano, noteworthy attractions are just a 45-minute drive away. We do not allow parties or large unauthorized gatherings on our property. Smoking of any type is not allowed, with violations subject to a $450 fine plus the cost to clean, deodorize, and repair damages. Check-in is at 4pm and checkout is at 10am. Small low-key gatherings are allowed only upon request and approval in advance. Noise levels are monitored to ensure compliance with local ordinances. The cottage is remote work-friendly with high-speed Wi-Fi and a comfortable living area that can double as a workspace. A laptop computer is not included.
