Explore the nearby Eastern Market, Detroit Institute of Arts, or take a stroll through the charming historic district. The apartment is also conveniently located near public transportation, making it easy to get around the city. It is 6 minutes from Downtown Detroit, 2 minutes from the DMC and University, 2 minutes from Wayne State, 4 minutes from Ford Field, and 1 mile from the Cultural Center. Access the building through the main entrances and be respectful of the home and community. The home is not baby-proofed and may not be ideal for families with small children, although children are welcome at your own discretion. Check-out time is 11 am unless otherwise approved. There is a $100 penalty fee for removing smoke detectors. Smoking inside or outside on the patio/balcony, parking lot, or within 50ft of the property is strictly prohibited, with a fine of $300 for violations. Parties and events are strictly prohibited, with a fine of $500 for violations, legal action, and possible eviction without reimbursement. Unauthorized pets incur a $250 fee. Missing or damaged items will be charged at direct replacement cost plus a fine of up to $300. House rules violations can result in a fine of up to $1000 and/or eviction. Noise can transfer easily to neighbors through walls and floors.
