From 2021-2024, I had the pleasure of living in 2 different units in Garfield Lofts--a 1 bd & a 2 bd-- and during that time, I had an overall great experience. The location could not be more ideal with the nearest Q-line stop being a 2-minute walk away, close midtown shops & restaurants, and the most reasonable gated parking you will find in Detroit. While I hope to consider myself a relatively low-maintenance tenant, that is not to downplay the fact that when any issues or concerns arose, my maintenance requests were met quickly, usually within 24-48 hours. I enjoyed everyone who lived in the building and was met with very little inconvenience by the staff that could be controlled. My only note would be a more secure packaging system to better prevent access to non-tenants but as you can see, that was not an issue that affected my rating.
