This is a large one bedroom windowed basement apartment that has been completely renovated. There is a seperate kitchen and bathroom and adequate closet space. The apartment is in a private house with a seperate entrance and the rent is $975 a month. The rent includes utilities as well as cable TV(inclusive of HBO ESPN ETC, much more than basic) and internet. This is in the Wakefield/Woodlawn area of the Bronx walkable distance to the subway. It is easily accessible by the #2, #4, #5 trains, which take anywhere between 45 to 60 minutes to reach Midtown Manhattan. The Woodlawn Metro North Station is just a 7 minutes walk, which gets you to Fordham in 8 minutes, Harlem in 15 minutes, Grand Central and White Plains in 24 minutes. All amenities are available on White Plains Road which is a mere 5 minutes walk. Express buses run on Katonah Ave and White Plains Road to Midtown Manhattan. Bee Line buses also run on White Plains Road to New Rochelle, Yonkers and White Plains. We prefer either single occupants or couples who are clean and respectful of their surroundings. Please note that you are directly dealing with the owners. To move in we would require two month's rent and a month's security($2925). There are no brokers or commissions, you just pay two month's upfront, rent is due the third month from when you move in(this is after you have paid the $2925 upfront). Parking as well as laundry facilities are present on premise. Two Recent Paystubs, Picture ID and good credit is a must.
