The Zumper Seattle Metro Report analyzed active listings in February across 17 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The Washington state one bedroom median was $1,247 last month.
Cities Ranked By Rent
Le plus cher
–Bellevue, WA rent grew to nearly $2,000, hitting $1,960, and held onto its position as the most expensive in the metro.
–Kirkland, WA moved up a spot to rank as the second priciest city with one bedrooms priced at $1,890.
–Seattle, WA fell behind Kirkland to become third with rent at $1,800.

–Lakewood & Auburn, WA tied for the city with the most affordable rent, both with one bedrooms priced at $980.
–Marysville, WA followed closely behind as second with rent at $990.
–Tacoma, WA rent ranked as the third least expensive at $1,080.

–Lakewood, WA ranked as second with rent growing 15.3% since this time last year.
–Puyallup, WA was third with rent climbing 14.4%.
