Seattle Metro Report: July 2018

The Zumper Seattle Metro Report analyzed active listings in June across 20 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest growing rents. The Washington state one bedroom median was $1,260 last month.

Cities Ranked By Rent

Kirkland, WA rent rose $30 to $2,090 but remained the most expensive in the metro.

Seattle, WA continued to rank as second with one bedrooms priced at $1,990.

Bellevue, WA was third with rent at $1,960.

Le moins cher

Marysville, WA saw rent drop $20 to $910 but remained the most affordable.

Lakewood, WA fell one spot to rank as the second least expensive with rent decreasing $30 to $920.

Auburn, WA dropped one spot to become third with rent taking a $50 dip to $950.

Burien, WA had the largest year over year rental growth rate, up 15.6%.

Lakewood, WA rent was the second fastest growing, climbing 15%.

Puyallup, WA saw rent rise 14.4% since this time last year, making it third.

Sammamish & University, Place, WA prices tied for the fastest growing last month, both up 5.3%.
