Here’s a list: - Expensive for how cheaply made they are. They look nice but aren’t made to last in the long run. Things chip and peel. - A man who lives in building 1 goes through the trash. He takes a box down to the trash room and will collect (who knows what) then take it all back to his apartment building leaving the trash room a mess. Oh and you pay extra for that mess on your next rent bill. - The train is incredibly loud. It sometimes even comes cruising on through blaring its horn at 2am. I hate that train. - These are non smoking buildings. And yet it reeks of weed (some days more than others.) - The lights in the parking lot and on the building are SO bright. You’ll need dark curtains unless you like the light shining on your face when you’re trying to sleep. - I’ve run into too many dogs that aren’t friendly. Always a dog barking at something or someone. Witnessed a dog grab ahold of a girls sweater one time, I thought it bit her. - People are getting evicted all the time. A good neighbor of mine just got evicted without any warnings. - The utilities were told to be around $100 a month. But it’s actually more like $200. You pay for shared water and sewer, this month that was $90. We were told Rent + Utilities would be around $1,450 ($1,325 for a one bedroom 400sq ft apartment + roughly $100 for utilities) but I pay about $1,550-$1,600 a month. - No A/C. You have to buy your own. But it can’t be a window A/C has to be portable. Building gets extremely hot in the summer, don’t recommend living on the side facing the highway. - Noisy neighbors. Been here for 6 months and already have witnessed someone getting arrested. Building 2 has the most druggy/partiers. - You have to pay ($35 a month per car, that’s $420 a year for one car) for parking, but most of the people living here don’t and just park in the guest parking. So when you have family from out of state visit there’s no where for them to park because the residents took all the spots. - No one picks up their dogs sh*t. Watch where you step when taking your dog to the grassy areas surrounding the buildings. - No cameras in parking lot or buildings for security. Packages will get stolen and if anything happens there’s no proof so be careful. - No pantry or food storage of any sort. You have to buy your own shelves to keep basic food items on. No storage of any kind. You get one closet. There’s more i’m certain of it, but just from these key points I wouldn’t recommend anyone living here, unless this sounds like your jam.
