I love living here. Its the very first community I moved into as a Florida “transplant” from NYC. The rent is reasonable compared to surrounding rates, maintenance can drag their feet at times when you notify them of issues with plumbing, AC, etc but overall I really love it here. I love my neighbors and the cordiality of everyone that works here.

It was my first apartment and moving across the country was a bit stressful, but Amber helped me all along the way and made it easy for me. I had little time to do so, and she went through everything with me to make it as easy and as stress free as possible. The unit itself is nice and everything is working properly. The community is nice and amenities that come with it are as well. Very happy with it!

I reviewed when I lived here 2019-2020, but I wanted to leave an updated review from living here 2021-2023. The leasing staff, especially Kayla and Terri, are the best part about living here. Every interaction I have with them was helpful and friendly. They professionally handle issues that residents bring to their attention. They are quick to reply via both phone and email. They very kindly allowed me a one-week extension on my move-out date so that it coincided better with my moving arrangements. Maintenance is similarly quick. When I moved in I had a problem with my washer and dryer. Maintenance replaced it the very same day. Maintenance is clearly working hard on structural repairs as well, including putting in new stair steps and stair bannisters. The interior renovations look wonderful, with vinyl plank flooring, stone countertops, and massive walk-in closets with built-in shelving and stackable washers and dryers. But even if you are applying for an unrennovated unit, know that the interior still looks nice (I used to have one of the older units). The buildings are older buildings, so they have excellent insulation and you hardly hear your neighbors at all (most newer buildings have barely any insulation at all). My only complaint that I will mention, which is a symptom of the older buildings, is that during the summer months I had some termites in my upstairs unit, which has wood siding unlike the downstairs units with concrete siding. When I asked for termite pest control, the leasing staff scheduled me in the books and someone came and sprayed for them. This did significantly help with the issue. I never saw any other bugs at all. Many families live at Anthem and children often play in the pool or ride their bikes in the afternoons. The community is very safe and tenants generally keep to themselves. There is a small gym which, oftentimes, I have all to myself in the afternoons. Overall a very quiet place to live. Given the opportunity, I would absolutely rent at Anthem again.
