I cannot say enough about what a wonderful experience I've had living at The Danforth for the past two years. I love my apartment, with all its modern amenities, huge windows that bring in natural light, spacious cabinets, tall ceilings... and! this is a great dog-friendly place. The staff in the management office as well as the maintenance team are incredibly friendly, responsive and helpful. Plus they do fun things for the tenants throughout the year! I've always felt safe here. I knew I was home from the moment I walked in the building as there was always a lovely scent infused throughout. Uniquely theirs. I highly recommend The Danforth.

Beyond the continuous positive building services responsiveness, it was my first meeting with the leasing agent, Danielle, who intrigued me about living at Danforth. She listened to my needs and provided me with options of units to look at that make me feel she was focused on my best interest. After selecting my unit, the process went smoothly and quickly and she provided updates very timely, particularly with my numerous questions. I have moved from a large home into apartment living which I've had to make some adjustments and she was very supportive. I have only had many positive interactions with other leasing professionals on site, and the entire maintenance /services team, Damon, Rick and others. Not only do I love the freshness of this new building, and also watch the quality of work going into the final parts still under construction, I feel as if I live in an upscale environment enjoying a lobby that provides a multitude of seating arrangements, television areas, offering opportunities to meet my neighbors as they could be having pizza with friends, working on laptops, studying for exams, looking at the screen listing the train schedule and shuttle, or just grabbing a cup of coffee (or Tea, in my case). Sometimes they are walking out to the pool, coming out of the exercise facility, or going out to walk their dogs. Although I don't own any pets, I am surprised that I don't hear any dogs barking. The only animals I see are the deer that graze on the hill across from my windows, mostly at dusk. It's amazing to have that view, while knowing we are located immediately off the Saw Mill Parkway, and can access many sites and shopping within 10 -15 minutes in any direction and can train into NYC quickly. Coming from out of state, I looked at a lot of places before landing at the Danforth Apartments and feel I've made a great choice living in a River Town very near to great restaurants along the Hudson River, while also being able to walk out the front lobby of our building to a great restaurant (with more coming in) and posh movie theater and numerous other shops since the Danforth is located right in the new Chauncey Square. I'm really looking forward to the healthy supermarket coming in across the street. Since I love to cook, I know I'll be going there frequently. Which brings me back to loving my kitchen with the 5 burner gas stove and substantial closet space.... great for people who enjoy cooking. Although this communication is longer than I had intended, I can't close out without saying how impressed I am with the fact that I can drive into the parking garage and drive right up to the floor that I live on and walk into the hallway right into my apartment. How clever is that! Thanks for the opportunity to share how pleased I am living here. In summary, Doreen is Delighted at Danforth!
