I absolutely love living at Monterey! The atmosphere here is so peaceful and quiet, which is perfect for unwinding after a long day of work and school. The spacious floor plans are a huge plus, giving me plenty of room to relax and entertain guests and family comfortably. The management team is friendly and responsive, always addressing any concerns promptly, Courtney has been a joyful addition to overseeing this community and has really been super welcoming and endearing. Plus, having access to two pools adds an extra touch of luxury to the living experience here in Jacksonville!

I moved to Monterey Apartments after being referred by a friend who absolutely loves living here. And I can totally see why she loves it so much! The staff is great and Rebecca goes above and beyond! I love my spacious apartment and the peaceful setting under the canopy of beautiful trees. It's a quiet and clean community to live in. The layout of the community is well designed with 2 pools, fitness gym and plenty of parking.
I must add that I looked at other Apartments in the area before moving here and none came close to the sizes, layouts and cleanliness offered at Monterey. I was thrilled with how spotless my apartment was when I moved in!!! Love living here!!!
I recently moved to Jacksonville (9/26/2024) after touring about 12 different apartment complexes. I decided to live at Monterey because of the location. The staff has been very welcoming and made me feel right at "home."
Today I interrupted the maintenance staff while they were making their rounds. To say that I was impressed would be a huge understatement. I spoke to John and CJ regarding my concerns about the screens on some of the windows.
I thought they would be able to get the issues resolved in a couple of days. They both had a great attitude, listened carefully and assured me that they could help me get the problems resolved. They resolved my concerns immediately. John and CJ went "above and beyond" in helping me get the issues resolved immediately. It was literally the best experience I've ever had in over 40 years of apartment living and home ownership. "Thank you" for hiring these two pros. It was obvious that they take pride in representing your company.

As someone who has come from an apartment complex with terrible management, I am extremely relieved to have such an awesome management team here at the Monterey. Rebecca and everyone in the front have gone above and beyond to make this move the best experience, and I am so grateful. The complex is also amazing, with a fantastic gym, pool, and dog park that I look forward to using! If you have the opportunity to live here, TAKE IT!!
Edit: one year later- We are so overwhelmingly happy with the past year of living here. Maintenance is fast and on top of everything, the front office employees are 100% as well, and all amenities are kept up and beautiful. We are resigning our lease because this has been such an awesome experience. The first apartment complex that I have actually enjoyed living at.

I've been living in Monterey for years, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment I moved in, I was impressed by the cleanliness and charm of the complex. The landscaping is well maintained. Inside, the communal areas are always clean, making coming home a pleasure. The attention to detail in maintaining the aesthetics of the complex truly sets it apart. I recently moved into Monterey at Beach Blvd, and I cannot say enough great things about this place! From the moment I began my application process, the staff has been nothing short of exceptional. Courtney, the property manager, is an absolute gem. She is incredibly helpful, always approachable, and goes above and beyond to ensure residents are happy and comfortable. The maintenance team is phenomenal! They are prompt, efficient, and can fix just about anything. On the rare occasion when they can't fix something immediately, they work tirelessly to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Living at Monterey has been a wonderful experience thanks to the incredible staff and their unwavering commitment to excellence. I highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking for a place that feels like home with a team that genuinely cares about its residents.
I have moved here in October 2022 after having a very bad experience at my last condo. Here I never had any issues, last year after a big storm there was a hole in the roof and not even a week later they fixed it. maintenance is always greeting you and on top of everything. I really recommend this place if you are looking to move in a quieter and nice area.
EDIT: another reason why I would never leave this condo. Yesterday at 11pm my AC was not working (had to sleep at 74+ degrees) and put a ticket down. First thing in the morning at 8am John knocked on my door and fixed the problem right away. 5/5 service. Thank you John!

Monterey is very organized and efficient with leasing and maintenance. The staff is very friendly and approachable. The complex itself is quiet and well kept. The pools and gym is always clean and the gate has never stopped working in my experience. Overall a peaceful and nice place to live!
