I did a self guided tour, and loved the unit I looked at! It doesn’t appear the the units they have on display are ones that they actually rent out. (Though that’s just my suspicion.) I applied for a different one w/ similar floor plan and received a text saying I was approved before they confirmed my employment, renters insurance, credit, any of that. They sent over the lease (through AppFolio) which had a lot of discrepancies, so I emailed my questions. I never got a response but they did deactivate my account.(weird?) Also through this process I tried multiple times to call through Bluestones office, and each time was fwded around and eventually hung up on. Once I spoke briefly with Roxy—who sent me that first text— and they said they were working on a new one. Then they sent me over a new lease w/ the same mistakes, plus higher fees at move-in time and a push to pay the security deposit. I emailed them again about my questions, and never heard back, so I just bailed altogether. Moral of the story, the unit I toured was nice, but Bluestone Real Estate Services is a giant red flag, no communication or knowledge around the actual location, and I would avoid contracting with them. Also on all platforms, including Bluestone’s website, they advertised that water, internet, and trash was paid by landlord, and first month rent free, none of which is true. (They only pay trash.) Honestly at first I thought I fell for a scam. Which maybe I did? Inconclusive. Nice location though! 4 stars there.

The poor quality and aesthetic of the building combined with the lack of care for the neighborhood and it's residents should give you caution. They also tried to charge 1800 for a studio until they couldn't get it. Terrible.
