When needed temporary fully furnished housing for a couple of months I search the entire Rochester area. Most places were either so expensive that it was not sustainable or not nice enough to call home...but then someone recommended Avalon Suites. They were very reasonable with rates, worked with me on price for an extended stay, were flexible on move in and move out dates and I felt very lucky to have found them. I worked with directly with the General Manager, Debbie Alaimo, and could not be more pleased. Debbie was responsive, attentive to my needs and I really felt like she had my best interests at the top of her priority list. This is a rare find when dealing with short term leases. I'm really thankful to her for making it such a great experience. The apartment was great, fully furnished, comfortable bed, lightning fast wifi, fully ready to move in with everything you need in kitchen and bathroom.||Thank you Avalon Suites and more importantly...THANK YOU DEBBIE!!!

We were looking for an extended stay type hotel since we would be staying more than a week and were traveling with son and his wife. I had seen the reviews on some of the brand name hotels that weren't all that good. Came across the Avalon Suites and reviews and photos looked great but was afraid that when we got there it wasn't going to be as stated. I can honestly tell you this was better than expected. Yes the furniture is dated but who cares it's comfy and clean. I wasn't afraid to walk on the carpet barefoot because it smelled and looked clean. I have stayed at 5 star hotels were each one had an distinctive smell, the suite here did not you could literally smell the cleanliness. The area is not noisy and relaxing. The kitchen was immaculate, the stove, the fridge and kitchenware were all clean and orderly. I didn't want to provide a review just so that next time I was in town I would know that it wasn't full and keep this as my secret to go hotel in Rochester. Kudos to the owners.
