So you've been living in a hotel in West Hollywood for a few months and decide, 'Hey... I should probably start living like a real person as opposed to a Kardashian, huh?' Enter: The Judson. I've looked at numerous lofts in DTLA and simply put, there hasn't been one that has been comparable to the Judson. The cost is exceptionally reasonable (and I have far more space than the 350 sq. foot, $1,600 studios going in around this place!) and my unit is open, quiet and it feels like me... Definitely not your typical cookie cutter apartment or wanna-be loft space. Creative freedom is available and the on-site manager is very reasonable if you want to paint your walls or do that sort of thing. Although getting this place took some perseverance on my part, a bit of work never hurt anyone. The best part: it has yet to become the unofficial 'dorms' for the loud, pothead art students in the area... I'm hoping that doesn't change. Going on year 2 and I'm still happy. It's a smaller community and everyone has been genuinely nice & respectful of their neighbors. If you're a professional over 25, aren't in to loud parties and don't want to be surrounded by 18 year-old children, The Judson is DTLA's hidden gem. #BringingBackBroadway #DTLALofts
