I have lived at Lake Crossing since June of 2015, and can't speak highly enough about it!! First, the location is great, far enough from UF to avoid the college traffic, but close enough to zip over to campus whenever necessary. Most important, the office staff is superb! They are so kind and accommodating. Ready to help residents at a moments notice with any and all matters that arise. And it's all done with a smile and kind word! Terri, the manager, and Kaitlyn, the assistant manager, are angels! The property is always clean and in excellent condition. The maintenance crew are prompt and professional with all requests! Fellow residents are kind and courteous. Needless to say, Lake Crossing is a delightful place to live! That's why I've been here for almost 9 years!!

We love living at Lake Crossing Apartments. After 3 years of luxury living, it just feels like a permanent home. The apartment is so comfortable and well maintained by professional, caring, and friendly staff. Terri our manager, and Kaitlyn, our assistant manager are top notch management! As is all the team members. Our neighbors are friendly and considerate, and the garden setting with a lakeview and beautiful trees makes for wonderful walks with our dog in this pet friendly environment. There is also a spacious dog park, intriguing playground, basketball court, large and enjoyable pool and grill area, 24/7 work out center, car wash area, etc. It just feels like coming home with added security! I have been living here for 3 years going on 4. From the first day, the staff have been so kind and welcoming. Upon arrival to my apartment they had a care package for me and for my dog. Any maintenance issues I have had they took care of in a timely manner. The front office staff is beyond sweet. Caitlyn always remembers me by name and her and Sydney always have a smile on their faces. The team at Lake Crossing always have treats for you at the front office and do little events every once in a while for their residence. Their amenities are clean and in good condition. The location is a short drive to anywhere in Gainesville and it is a quiet, pet friendly neighborhood. I would and do recommend this Lake Crossing to anyone!
Lake Crossing was my "home away from home" for seven months, and I couldn't have found a better place! The apartment itself was comfortable and quiet, but it was the exceptional staff and friendly residents who made me feel well cared for and welcome. I was impressed with the excellent communication, prompt attention to maintenance requests, and the considerate attention from each of the staff members, and would happily rent at Lake Crossing again.
You know that annoying girl, Phoebe, in the Magic School Bus cartoons, who always says, “at my old school they did it this way…this would never happen at my old school…my old school blah blah blah.”…?
That’s how I feel after moving out of Lake Crossing. After 2ish weeks at our new apartment, constantly saying, “my old apartment had dog bags and dispensers at every turn…My old apartment had the best maintenance crew and they fixed it right the first time…everyone was always so friendly and helpful at my old apartment…” etc etc. If we ever had to move back to Gainesville, I’d move back to lake crossing. They overall just made it feel like home. Everyone cared. They are truly nice people, the grounds are quiet, they’re super dog friendly, maintence was quick and fantastic, truly no complaints.

Lake Crossing Apartment is an exceptional place to call home. The community is beautifully maintained, with lush landscaping and serene lake views that create a peaceful atmosphere. The amenities are top-notch, including a modern fitness center, a sparkling pool, and convenient on site services. The staff is incredibly friendly and responsive, always ready to assist with any needs. The apartments themselves are spacious, well-designed, and equipped with all the necessary features for comfortable living. Overall, Lake Crossing Apartment offers a wonderful living experience, combining comfort, convenience, and a welcoming community.
Lake Crossing has been such a great place to live. Myself, boyfriend and dog have been here for almost a year and absolutely love it here. The staff is always so friendly not only to myself and my boyfriend but to my dog as well. Sydney especially loves to say hello to Meeko whenever we bring him in and always is so kind!

We have been renting at Lake Crossing since August, and we are so pleased we chose this complex. The property is well maintained, conveniently located, and peaceful. The best part, though, is the staff! The entire staff is so welcoming, professional, and responsive. Plus they host regular events and activities for the residents to enjoy. It really feels like a home. Shout out to Lauren, Teri, Sydney, and the maintenance team. This place should definitely be on your list if you are looking for a great place to rent in Gainesville!
