I want to share with anyone wanting to rent from STONEHILL. It’s a nice clean/great place to live. I have lived here a little over a year and the ladies that are in the office are sooooo very nice. The rent is reasonable which I look at when I’m taking care of a friend. The people here are so very friendly. They will get my five stars!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have been living here for 4 years now and I would like to thank all the staff here! They all have been very helpful to me when in need of maintenance or emergency issues! I could not say how much I appreciate living here at stonehill apartments! I am signing my lease for another awesome year here!

Stonehill was a wonderful place to call home for the last 4.5 years. This will be a comprehensive review, but in short, this has been a great place to rent from and I would happily do it again. Features I Liked In-Unit Washer and Dryer: Not having to go to a laundromat or shared laundry is fantastic. It’s a double stack unit, so not the biggest, but it sure beats a laundromat or in-building paid laundry. Package Lockers: Stonehill uses Luxor, where package carriers place your package in a locked box. It then automatically texts you an unlock code that you can use to retrieve your package at any time. Central Heating and Air: Instead of radiators and AC units on the wall, you have central heating and air to keep the apartment cool or warm. Gym: The gym is big enough for plenty of people to work out at the same time. The equipment is decent quality, and it was nice saving on a gym membership. Underground Parking: One slot is included with your rent. It’s nicely lit and never colder than 55 degrees in the winter. Outdoor Pool: A nice feature, especially if you have kids. There are plenty of beach chairs and tables with umbrellas. Big Usable Deck: Stonehill has nicely covered decks that feel far enough apart to be usable. We were able to grow sunflowers, tomatoes, and peppers in plant pots outside. Walking Path: There is a paved path that circles around the entire apartment. It’s between a 10-12 minute walk around and is surrounded by lots of nature. Car Wash Station: In the parking garage, there is a stall to wash your car. It has a pretty powerful hose, so as long as you bring your own car washing equipment, it’s a good place to wash your car. Stonehill Staff The staff at Stonehill have all been wonderful to work with. Dena is absolutely lovely and gave us the Stonehill tour. Everyone I’ve interacted with at the front office has been easy to work with and friendly. We did have an issue with the handoff of the gas and electricity bill when we left Stonehill, but Laura, the current property manager, was able to take care of it pretty quickly. For maintenance, we never had to wait more than a day for a response. Roy is a pretty handy guy, and his maintenance team is timely with requests. It’s easy to make a maintenance request online, and you can set the priority of the request. For noise, we never had too many issues. The building is older, and you can hear your neighbors if they’re shouting. For those that live on the highway side of the building, you can ambiently hear 494, but it’s not loud by any means, especially with the windows shut. There are some things I think could make Stonehill better. While the building is clean inside overall, there are paint chips, worn trim, and some spots that could use some TLC. I think having pictures from the Plymouth community up would ground Stonehill in the community feeling versus generic 80s-style art. Community events at Stonehill used to be more frequent, but I’d say the last year there were not as many. One time we had a scavenger hunt where whoever had the most points got a Target gift card that I won! For the Superbowl, they had a watch event and had whoever guessed the closest score to the final score win a gift card (I won one year). They have a food truck about once every 6 months where they give you food tickets for some free food. The one consistent event is the summer BBQ, but even then, the last one was the smallest of all the years. Stonehill needs to keep those community events going and bring back games when they can to bring the community together. My last complaint is how much they water the grass. All the residents foot the bill for watering the lawn, and I think dialing it back a bit wouldn’t be bad. Also, with the way the parking lot is designed, the sprinklers spray much of the cars and leave hard water spots on them. Overall, I enjoyed my time at Stonehill. If you choose to live here, I think you’ll have a great experience whether it be for a year, 4 years, or more!
