Stevens community apartments is the greatest leasing office I have ever worked with. Any issues I’ve had living in one of their buildings for 5 1/2 years, they were committed to assisting me as a resident. Whether it was maintenance, issues with noise, minor concerns with the building to make sure it was up to date, cleaned, safe, they took care of it. I loved this leasing office. If it weren’t for outgrowing my space, and a personal desire to leave downtown Minneapolis, I would have loved to continue being their tenant. After moving, I almost wish I did stay. The rent was Very affordable, including $75 for a leasing space, which is far less expensive than anywhere else I’ve seen. Thank you Stevens Community Leasing Office, it’s only been a few weeks, but I miss y’all already!

I've rented from Stevens Community Apartments for the past 12 years and can honestly say they do a great job. April, Libby, Larry and everyone at the office are professional and great to work with. They are real people there for you, day in and day out, not some mysterious landlord who may or may not text you back. Jenny and the maintenance crew are responsive and do a good job. They can't read your mind and you need to let them know any maintenance issues you have, but once you call or submit a maintenance request online repairs are made quickly and up to good standards. The building common areas are cleaned regularly, and if there's ever anything gross give maintenance a call and they will get it cleaned up almost immediately. Stevens Community Apartments owns multiple buildings in the area and offers a ton of variety of units and price points, all sharing the same central office which is great for sending your packages. For the money SCA is the best value you're going to find around Minneapolis. I'm only moving out because I bought a house but I will definitely miss my great apartment of the last 10 years (I lived across the street in a different SCA building for 2 years before that). 👍👍

Me and my wife lived at 209 e 19th and 20 groveland (Stevens community properties, for a total of 4 years I believe. 2 years in each building) and April Kelly (leasing manager) was the main reason we stayed in south Minneapolis for as long as we did. She is such an amazing sweet and caring person! I know for a FACT we won’t find another leasing lady (or man) like April!!! I’m so sad she doesn’t have buildings in St. Paul because we definitely would have stayed under her management. Miss you April and office team! Hope all is well :)

I have lived here for about 2 years. If you’re thinking about living here, DO IT. The office staff is amazing. They are very present and so understanding. The maintence crew is AWESOME! They always take care of any issues right away. They’ve been put through some rough issues at my apartment but always were super understanding and helpful. I can’t recommend this place enough!! The area is not great - gunshots and drugs on a daily basis. Parking can be pretty tough sometimes, as well. Other than that this place is awesome.

I've been here for 14 years because my husband and I truly love living here. April Kelly, business manager, has come through for us on every occasion -- she and her staff are absolutely wonderful. Thanks so much for a beautiful home (wouldn't be surprised if we end up renting from SCA another 14 years, whether we decide to own property in MN or not.) Ignore bad reviews -- these are just people who are bitter that they didn't get their deposits back because they blatantly violated the terms of the agreement. These apartments are INEXPENSIVE and beautiful--I'm glad they keep their money when they're entitled to.

We lived here for over 4 years & it was wonderful, the apartment staff are responsive & empathetic, and always made it a priority to work with us when we needed it (thank you April, Larry, Libby, and everyone else we've worked with over the years!). Very affordable, and the variety of units available fit our lifestyle . If we ever move back to Minneapolis, this is where we're looking first.

Lived there for a year and a half. The management and maintenance staff were all, without exception, OUTSTANDING! They took every issue I had seriously plus the were swift and effective at taking care of it. Rent is affordable, location is great, and the apartments while older are well maintained.
