I can say this for now, it's better than it was before. The old village oaks apts. Yes it's the hood (ghetto) but this new company (volara) is really trying to clean it up. These apts are old and Yes they need a lot of work, but they're really doing a great job. True sometimes it takes a while to get your maintenance requests done and all, but remember these apts are not luxury apts. So understand this, moving here is a choice. I love my place and I like the staff. Somebody will always have something bad to say but remember, you can't always believe what you read or hear. I thought I would never move here but I did and so far so good. I'm a realist and I'm just being real. It's not where you live, it's how you live. Affordable and the staff is very helpful and considered when it comes to working on your apt So take it from me, it's not as bad as it use to be here. So come check them out for yourself. You will be amazed at the transformation
