I lived here for two years and went to SJU for school. It's a nice walk to the school, as well as train, bus, and trolly stops. Parking on the road was never an issue, and there's a lot of stores nearby. I never had any problem feeling unsafe in this area. My first year here was under different management, and they were very understanding with an issue that I had with another tenant. I was in a one bedroom apartment, which was comfy for one. The bathroom is relatively small, but it works. Besides kitchen appliances, you fill out the apartment with your own personal furniture. The washers and dryers are in the basement, but it will cost you $3.75 for a single washer/dryer load when you download the app for it. My second year I moved to a two bedroom apartment. The balcony and extra space was nice, especially when having friends visit. I had an overall good experience, but there were some issues to bring up here as this is during the current management. My bathroom was older and the paint was heavily chipping away around the shower, but I believe they are replacing this after I moved out. In addition, I didn't get my mailbox key for this apartment until around a month before my lease ended. I also had the ceiling in one of the rooms collapse from heavy rain. The repairs were fast, but it took weeks for it to be painted over and not be an eyesore. The boiler broke in the winter of 2020, and it took a couple of months for technicians to work out the kinks while we relied on space heaters. The trash outside can get filled to the brim and that leaves some of the trash laying on the ground. Would be best in the future to add another trash bin. In conclusion, the location is good and the new management had a ton on their plate trying to renovate a lot. I think after leaving, it's in a lot better position now, but there still should be quicker responses to resolving issues that came up (the key, painting the ceiling, etc.). At the end of the day, I would recommend living at this apartment, especially to college students in the area.

They will seemingly rent to anyone. There are people in the building that have children that scream constantly and other tenants who constantly make noise and disturb other people. The carpeting and the walls are filthy and some people constantly leave the front door open which presents a security risk to all tenants in the building plus they fill the dumpsters and put out nasty couches and beds that aren't going to be taking so they stay there and create a eyesore. It should also be noted there is no Pool, The fitness center equipment is broken and the elevator doesn't work.On a positive note the apartments are okay and fairly clean.
