My wife and I have recently moved into the Community. So far everything has been amazing. Community events, excellent maintenance staff (Charlie is the man). The office staff, Tanya and Kari, have been so nice and professional. Handling every request with complete care and compassion! Our neighbors are very personable. We love our back deck, it’s so easy to just fall asleep out there. To many great things to say about the community!!

I just wanted to share that I am very happy with the recent renovations made to this complex. The changes to the exterior make it look brand new. The staff is very friendly and quick to respond with any requests. We are very happy with our lease here and plan to renew.
Pros: Location, management, quietness, maintenance team
My previous apartment situation was a disaster before moving to Cross Creek apartments. I am so much more at peace after living here for 7 months. In a quiet wooded area, less than a mile from two grocery stores, straight shot to downtown via Western Ave, and the spacious Victor Ashe Park is nearby.
Haven't had to worry about pests or neighbors at all. Maintenance and office staff are friendly and responsive. They are great with emailing us any changes to office hours or work taking place on site or even virtual community engagement opportunities (dog photo contest). Online payments and work request system is easy to use. The pool was great to have during the summer. Onsite laundry room has always been working for me. Reasonable rent for quite a bit of space (1 bedroom apt). The interior is dated, but the unit is solidly built and not run down. Would definitely recommend this place.
I have been at Cross Creek for 4 months. Tanya is always very helpful and friendly and the maintenance staff responds quickly anytime I need them. When it snowed, they quickly arranged to get the driveway cleared so we could get in and out safely. I'm not sure why someone complained about the snow and ice! My building does have issues with mud on the steps and sidewalk when it rains but they try to keep it cleaned off.
We are kept informed of all events including possible work on the grounds, utility repairs, inspections, etc. My dogs love their walks here along the trails!
It is usually very quiet here and I haven't had any issues with my neighbors so far. Overall, I enjoy living here.
This has been the most peaceful transition to a new living situation i have ever had. Tanya and Kristen made us feel so welcomed, and we really appreciate that! The community is so peaceful, and I am loving the tennis court. I am always greeted kindly on the phone if I need something, and I am assured that any issues will be addressed. Even the maintenance guys are really nice and warm and helpful and informative. Thank you for being a friend, CrossCreek! :D

Love where we live! It’s an amazing little oasis right in the heart of Knoxville! Tucked away and private, but close to everything you need! Beautiful walking trails, I enjoy daily, and a relaxing pool!!! With a small fitness center to boot! And an absolutely beautiful stone clubhouse to enjoy for all of the residents. The staff has been incredible! Cannot complain, they’re awesome and do a great job! It’s been great! We love it! ♥️ -Tori R.

The management staff is amazing! Very responsive! I did read a few of the negative reviews here, an I won't lie I've heard these types of comments at almost every apartment community. Most stemming from not reading the contract they sign from the moment they are leased the apartment. Don't get me wrong, I understand why people don't read the contract it's very long.
I've lived at enough places to know, most employees or managers will actually go line by line or at least go over the subjects that concern you with you. So not reading nor caring about what can get you evicted from their community isn't something you can blame them for.
I lived with the community now almost a year, besides some loud neighbors, which I mean, it's apartment complex, it happens. After verbally explaining the situation to my neighbors we were able to come to an agreement. Although not all communication in this manor can be done, thus when staff would need to get involved in my opinion.
Otherwise the property is always up-kept an maintained, I will say this, there is problems in the entrance of the complex currently but this is something I've been advised it not controlled by Cross Creek, but KUB as they are working with the streets still.
With the caring staff and friendly down to earth residents, not to mention awesome rent deal, I absolutely give this place 5 stars. Would recommend to others!

I started looking at apartments in Knoxville in February of 2019, and Cross Creek was at the top of first, my long list, and then my short list. Seeing the facility was a convincer, as was meeting the on-site management team, Tanya and Kari.
Tanya and Kari extended every courtesy in helping me find the right place over a three-month period as things wound down for me in Chicago. They were very congenial, professional, and efficient, and I have been delighted with my new apartment.
The Cross Creek complex is quiet, woodsy, and very well tended. Amazing to have acres and acres for walking, tennis courts, and a swimming pool. The design of the apartments in quite ingenious.
On moving in, I found a few minor repairs that needed attention and notified the management. Within a day, Charlie and Chris were at my apartment ready to make the repairs I had reported and even one they thought needed work. They were gracious to me and skilled in their work.
I have found Cross Creek a great place to live so far. And I'm confident that both the management and maintenance teams will be responsive when and as issues arise.
Thanks, Cross Creek!
