I was feeling very desperate because the tank on my toilet did not refill when it was flushed and my personal GI system was working overtime that morning. I was having to refill the tank by hand, not very practical. I really called in kind of a panic. About an hour later when I went back into the bathroom, the tank was full. I called the office again. To let them know but they sent a man to ensure it was working properly. THANK YOU!

I've been researching short-term leases for my elderly parents and have spoken with at least 10 different apartment communities and visited six in person. Chanel at Skylark has BY FAR been the most helpful, communicative, and supportive apartment manager I've corresponded with; she is prompt, friendly, efficient - and she has not only really listened to my needs but has been proactive in helping me find the best place for my parents. Given how busy life is, it's been a HUGE help - and it really puts me at ease knowing that, if we end up finding an apartment there, my parents will be in a well-managed, safe community. Channel in the leasing office goes over and beyond to be helpful. She listened to my needs & directed me to a lovely apt. She completed all the forms online for me and basically made the process pain free. Her availability for communication was excellent, as well.
Skylark apartments has improved dramatically after the merger.. the company is investing in major improvements and as an 18 year resident it may have had some temporary inconveniences but everything is settling down and it’s obviously for the better.. Their maintenance program has been better than ever and Chris is definitely one of the reasons. The work orders are taken seriously and our apartment home has improved in many areas. Upgrades are always a priority., as a long time resident I believe this company has improved the quality of living not to mention great views and a fireplace provides a relaxing experience. I feel lucky enough to have a safe and secure feeling when I arrive home. The rent is also competitive, no problem here! I have to also mention Chanel , she has followed up with work orders to make sure our expectations were met . Thank you for the attention to detail. After looking at many places throughout Marin, we moved into the Skylark Apartments 2 weeks ago. I immediately felt at home. The location is stellar and the property is gorgeous and has a feel of Lake Tahoe to it. Most importantly, the neighbors are extremely friendly and there is a sense of community. I worked with Channel, their star Leasing Agent to find the best apartment for our needs. She was exceptional, going above and beyond with all of my endless questions, concerns, and situation. She assisted me in getting approved and walked me through the process and requirements. When I had to pause the application and hold off due to job change, she was patient and helpful. I was obviously not just a number to her. She really cares about the quality of people moving in to the complex as she lives onsite herself. Her husband, Chris, whom others have praised in reviews here, does the maintenance and is very quick to respond with any issues. As we've never lived in an apartment complex we are used to having to do everything ourselves. Both Chris and Channel handle everything from driving out to pick up trash that fell off someone's balcony (Please don't keep garbage on your balcony) to assisting with minor issues such as the toilet not flushing or alarms going off, or keys. Everyone else we met in the leasing office was also extremely professional, polite, fun, and friendly. When you live someplace you really want to be around fun and friendly people. You don't want to see that the employees are downtrodden or low vibe from being mistreated by their employer. Life is hard enough and we all need to live in harmony. I'm grateful that the Skylark has provided such an opportunity for us to start over.

From the moment we met her, she was incredibly warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable about every aspect of the property. Chanel took the time to address all of our questions and made sure we felt comfortable throughout the tour.
