I've been here roughly 5 years now. It's under new management and it shows. The previous manager while friendly enough ran the complex with their mouth. Often I'd walk past the office and hear them yelling and ranting. Not a good look. Optics are everything. The place slowly started to decline as a lot was said but little was done. The place became a hang out for people who didn't even live here. The new management have taken a much more business like approach. After all, this is a business, we don't own these apartments, someone is allowing us to stay on their property at cost so it's in the best interest of management to make sure the residents are treated fairly, but more importantly held accountable. For every person who "don't care" there are five more people that do and need a place to live that is clean, safe, and upkeep maintained. The new management have made their mark and are extremely friendly and professional. There is still work to be done but the short time they've been here the changes have been tangible. For example. I actually got a follow up call to ask how a maintenance request was performed. That has NEVER happened before. They not only act, they follow up. This speaks volumes. I plan on renewing my lease once again after teetering the past few years if I wanted to stay or not. Now, it's not a question if this is the direction management is taking this place.
