Love the place but didn’t see a third bedroom like they implied they had

I lived here for 4 years. The apartments weren’t too bad for the price. The rip off comes when you move out. They tried to charge me a “hazmat disposal” charge of $100 for leaving a can of oven cleaner and tilex under the sink. Good anemities off site

Welcome to Willow Oaks Luxury Apartments. I think I've been here 3 years now and have yet to find the luxury. The first year I moved here, my roommate had the doors of his Jeep stolen. Happened right here in the parking lot right in front of our place. Numerous times since I've been here I have been awakend or disturbed from fights outside with people screaming. Weekly, I'm bothered by insanely loud music in the parking lot with bass that rattles the windows. The drivers having no consideration for the hour of the night or residents. And daily my ears are actually pained from a resident here who has some kind of modified moped which is loud as Monster Jam. It legitimately hurts my ears if I'm outside because it's so loud. The neighborhood knows every moment they leave and come home. The noise is inescapable. Sometimes he speeds around the parking lot loop repeatedly like its his own personal race track. I don't have kids but I found it amusing they took down the playground and built a dog play area. All the while reiterating to keep your kids from playing in the parking lot. Where are they supposed to go to play? An overflowing dumpster is a staple of the community. Cockroaches are common in the rooms here. They will also run around the parking lot and porch areas unafraid of people. I'm convinced that many people here have no jobs with how late they stay out in the parking lot and porch area all days of the week. Don't smoke? If you live here you do now. You will not get away from clouds of Marijuana. My place has reeked of weed coming from surrounding units. Perhaps the biggest nuisance is coming home to finding no available parking spots anywhere near my place and seeing its full from nonresidents attending the Unemployed Pothead Parties. A neighborhood is only as good as its people. Therefore, in summary, Willow Oaks is loud, smokey, and ignorant. Many people come to Chesapeake to leave the ghetto. In 2024, I'll have you know, Chesapeake is the ghetto. You're going to have to do your research to find an area that isn't like this. UPDATE 3/31: My automobile was broken into last night and $1500-$2000 worth of property stolen from it. It was locked and no valuable openly visible from the outside. This happened once again, literally right in front of where we sleep. Right under our noses in the dead of night on Easter Sunday. The neighborhood has no closed circuit surveillance to rely on for incidents such as this. (Which with my testimony alone show it is not one-off anomalies.) The community has supposed security service from Invicta Security, but they only come here when called. I do not feel comfortable or safe living here any longer.
