I moved in a month ago and it’s been great! The complex managers Stephanie and Leonor are very sweet! They are just great people persons they love to talk! My move in process was very smooth the application was simple. If I had any questions or concerns they emailed back very quick! I had a few things that needed maintenance and the maintenance men are excellent they were quick but also took their time to make sure it was done correctly! My neighbors are all very nice and quiet people. There is so many trees and plants and the new paint on the buildings is just beautiful! It’s a very beautiful community I just love it! The location is also great! 15 minutes from the North Star Mall Walmart and H‑E‑B are no more then 10 minutes away! Lots of stores and restaurants in the area! Highly recommended!
I’ve been here for about 3 years now. Have had no issues at all. Neighbors are nice. Everything is clean. Maintenance is friendly and fixes issues in a timely manner! Office staff is kind. You would not be disappointed if you moved in!

Moved here in early February! I have to say I have no had any issues and if I have the team- Stephanie and Leonor have been so helpful. They take care of the tenet and take care of any issues. I had a fan, A/C and sink issues which they took care of ASAP, depending on the parts and how long they take to get there. Their staff for maintenance is small but great because they get things done. I really enjoy my time here I feel I can really come to the managers for any issues and be seen and listened to.
Update:I just wanted to update y’all. Love it here still. No apartment is perfect but this one comes pretty close. I like that the maintenance and management staff if responsive still. The building are old (at least the one I live in) but they’re still sturdy and that’s to be expected. I would recommend someone living here. :)
When I came to tour this apartment complex the manager was amazing she was very helpful in finding the perfect place for me and my husband! I have had a few maintenance issues but shorty and his team have always been very helpful and quick with fixing any issues! I love the pool even if the trees always throw leaves in the pool but nothing crazy the parking is easy always have a spot available and the gates are always reliable and I never have to worry about stolen packages from my door the community is quiet and it’s perfect

I have been residing at this complex for about seven years. Those years have been spent in the same basic A1 model (485 sq ft) with a washer /dryer connection. Yes, this means I have the older yellow hue appliances, but I feel it adds to the quaint and cozy appeal of the apartment. When I tell someone about the apartment size, their reactions are comical, as they cannot believe I would choose to live in such a "small" space. However, the space is plenty and if approached right, it can seem even bigger. (on a side note, the closest and outside storage unit is a decent size.) This space can accommodate a wall desk (ability to fold down) when I have to work from home, a meditation and reading area, a regular living room setting, and so much more without feeling cluttered. The closet mirror doors (seen in the photo) have recently, thankfully, been removed. I have never cared for them. In the meantime, I have temporarily put up curtains to make the room appear soothing.
During my time here, this property has had two or three changes in ownership and a couple of property managers, which is common in this type of business. However, this change does not bother me as long as the individuals managing the property continue to communicate and address whatever might be brought to their attention. Hence, this is one of the reasons why I am still living here. One consistency during those changes has been the maintenance team. Tony and Shorty have been beyond awesome over these years with addressing any submitted maintenance orders. They are great with keeping me informed on the status of my request, such as if they need to order a part or when the request is complete.
Remember that no matter where you live (apartment/house), it will not always be perfect, from your surroundings to the inside of your home. You see, at the end of one's day, it is all about how you approach the situation and what you do to make it work and turn it into your home.

I had the privilege of living at Carmel at Deerfield for 5 years. In that time, we went through 3 different management companies. The current management, Anterra, blew the other two out of the water. They have made fabulous additions to an already cute and quiet property (pool upgrade, exterior paint, hot tub, dog washing station) and a fantastic office staff to boot. You can tell how much Stephanie and Lenore care to provide a welcoming atmosphere, as proven by their addition of regular resident events and their willingness to always help with any issues that may arise.
Any maintenance issues I had (the very few of them) were always promptly addressed by Tony and Shorty, who have been at the property for years. They have always done wonderful work and provided the best service.
My only reason for leaving was that I found a larger space with a yard for my pups. I no doubt would have stayed if this opportunity did not present itself.
There is really no place like Carmel at Deerfield, and I am sad that my time there has come to an end. Thank you for years of wonderful living!

I love living here. Maintenance has been great always fix things in a timely manner. Mgmt always has been helpful and friendly. The great thing about living here is that it’s very convenient to everything. You can’t go wrong with choosing Carmel at Deerfield as your home.
This place has been amazing to me. Maintenance is on point and have a track record of staying long term and doing a great job. They always work hard and are very honest! The staff in the office has been wonderful and get back to us on a timely manner. They are very helpful. It’s been peaceful here since 2016 and it’s a small rental property which I like very much and if they would kindly turn them into condos I would love to stay forever.
