Almost two years into living at the Battery, and after ten years of renting in different places, I can honestly say this is the best renting experience I have had, by miles! Any maintenance requests are quickly dealt with, electricity bills are incredibly low and the building is very well maintained. James and Nick at the leasing office are the MVPs, and have made everything easy for us these last two years. The residents events are well thought out, and overall the place has a very homey feel, you get to know your neighbours here. Also the place is within walking distance of everything. Couldn’t recommend the place more highly.

I have lived all over the country in both small and larger cities. The Battery on Blake has been amazing. I have a 2 bed 2 bath we were able to rent during a move in special. I use the downstairs coffee bar nearly every day it’s never out of stock. The location could not be better especially if you prefer a walkable area. The ballpark does get a little congested during baseball season but the parking in the garage and really being able to walk wherever you need to go helps. I’ve only ever needed to put in a single maintenance request and it was handled within 2 hours which given past experiences elsewhere was a huge surprise. Downtown can be a little scary sometimes but I do feel very safe here. You need to go thru 2 locked doors to get in and any issues are handled by management and addressed immediately. We do have dogs and there was a bit of an adjustment to city life but they love going on walks and the building provides waste bags to make it easy on us. Overall I would say it’s worth the price, the location is amazing if you want to live in actual Denver, Nick and James are excellent/friendly/helpful, the amenities are actually useful, and we love it here.

Update of nearly a month living: remain exceptionally pleased with everything, Management is encouraging of feedback (with great incentives!), the new Maintenance supervisor handled all of my minor unit concerns within a few hours of making a request with utmost professionalism and great attitude. James and Nick are dedicated to providing fun resident events and feels like they place a lot of care in giving back to community and ensuring all is well. Only gripes are things outside of control of their such as city sounds and rowdiness (some broken glass and waste around neighborhood too) that comes with living in a popular urban location with the growing pains Denver has seen. Fan noise and noisemakers were essential here if you face a main road but everything else makes it so worth it. The building itself is quiet with polite and respectful residents, walls are thick, furnishings are well above average, ceiling height is spectacular, parking is easy and seems secure. My pup and I are looking forward to continuing to design & make this our unique home, I’d l recommend anyone fortunate enough to be considering a penthouse here to go for it! Absolutely stellar experience from touring to moving in yesterday! James and Nick have consistently gone above and beyond to ensure a smooth and pleasant process. I could not be more pleased with the value this location provides complete with appealing floorplans, nice amenities, maintained cleanliness, feels secure and Maintenance seemingly has everything taken care of. Location, views are incredible & everyone has been very polite and accommodating that I have met thus far. I oversee operations at 20 high rises across the city and this was the place that really won me over and had me cancel on another another spot I had applied - I've toured and operated the majority of what the city has to offer for luxury apartments and have seen places 3 times the price offer much less - would highly recommend The Battery on Blake St.
