Somerset is a great place in the Uptown neighborhood. You can't beat the location with being a block from the lake and only a couple blocks from the redline. All of the workers have been tremendously nice. Matt was extremely helpful during the entire process when looking for a place and kept me posted on what on what was available. Jimmy the security guard/door man is SO nice. He always has a smile on his face. He knows everyone and our dog absolutely loves him. The maintenance staff really keeps the place clean. We have only lived here for a couple of weeks now, but haven't had a problem yet. Neighbors are respectful, people in the building are nice and friendly. Really feels like a community. Another plus is the building really looks beautiful during the holiday. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

I’ve lived at Somerset for 2 years and can confidently say it’s the best place I’ve ever called home! Exceptional management team, responsive, friendly and proactive. Well-maintained buildings and grounds. Spacious and modern apartments. Management is always on the best disposition to help out through any problem.
A great place to live. The staff has been great throughout my stay. Ruth has been very helpful, kind and professional. The building and apartment are both well maintained with nice amenities. Located in a great neighborhood with plenty of nearby restaurants.

I have lived at Somerset Place for almost one year, continue to be very happy here, and have signed another lease. Walking into the building, the atmosphere is very welcoming and calm, and I am always met with smiles and greetings by staff. They always treat me respectfully, and any concerns I have are always answered. Maintenance is very quick and reliable. Andreas makes certain everything is done to my satisfaction, and is very professional, polite, and always cleans after the repair. I love the fitness room and roof deck, and private party room (that can be used at no charge). Coming from owning a home for decades, with all the work and costs that go into a home's upkeep, this experience has been awesome! If you decide to make Somerset your next home, you will have made a great choice!

The Somerset Place Apartments really stand out in a category of their own. The beautifully kept units and appropriately priced packages make it second to none, given its prime location. The quality of the customer service and care go a long way when dealing with any questions, concerns, or inquiries. The staff have, time and again, gone to great lengths to assure I was treated well when I needed assistance. I would highly recommend others consider this as a prime option for Chicago housing.
