My daughter rented here for the past three years. The units are nice and the leasing company was great for the first two years before it was taken over by Gainesville Boutique, which has been a nightmare. They immediately tried to raise her rent in violation of the lease agreement, then began charging bogus fees every month also in violation of the lease, totaling over $550. They ignored our efforts to communicate about the disputed charges and would not respond to maintenance requests, such as black mold growing in the AC vents / covers and an ant infestation. When they finally sent someone to address the mold, they just spray painted over it, so the mold grew right back. They stopped mowing for long periods, so the grass became overgrown and overrun with bugs. When the place flooded from rain storms while my daughter was back home over the summer, they threw her wet belongings in the tub allowing them to mold and failed to replace the flood damaged baseboards. This place could be really nice but not with the current leasing company, who are only interested in getting as much money out of you as possible and have no sense of customer service.

This apartment complex is PERFECT for you if you like: 1. Management that is impossible to get a hold of 2. WiFi outages lasting for weeks, if not months 3. A combo washer/dryer that always leaves your clothes approx. 25% damp no matter how many different ways you try to wash your clothes (what a fun little game!) 4. Terribly constructed plumbing systems 5. Flooding outside your door every time there is minimum 0.1 inches of rain 6. A smoke alarm right outside your bathroom (no smoke alarm in the kitchen though??) so that every time you have the shower on hot for more than 1 minute the smoke detector goes off from the steam 7. Amenities like a “gym” and a “pool” that are at a permanently undisclosed location that you will never have access to! :D
