During the renovation, the whole home was painted, new flooring was installed throughout, the bathroom and kitchens were completely updated with new appliances and cabinetry, and new window coverings were installed. The community is perfectly located in Downtown Santa Cruz, walking distance to all the restaurants and shops and only a bike ride from the beach and Boardwalk! The living room is well-sized, and the kitchen is conveniently located off to the right, creating an excellent open floorplan, ideal for enjoying quiet nights at home and entertaining. This home has an abundance of windows, providing lots of light. All new window coverings will be installed prior to moving in! The kitchen is brand-new, equipped with a new glass-top stove, an all-white fridge, and a large basin sink. There is plenty of storage and space for a small table and chairs. The unit faces away from the street and, with its double-paned window, will be an oasis from the hustle and bustle of downtown. The two bedrooms are both good-sized and have plenty of light. Each room is about the same size, and both have spacious closets with mirrored closet doors that will be installed within the next few days. The bathroom is off the shared hallway and was upgraded with fresh paint, flooring, a vanity, a tub, and tile work. The unit does have one assigned off-street parking spot. Any additional cars would need to be parked on the street, requiring a permit. The community is very well maintained, with the landlord providing landscaping service. The lease is one year. One month's rent deposit. Water, sewer, trash included and tenant is responsible for all other utilities. Sorry, but no pets allowed. We approve applicants who have a household income of three times the monthly rent amount (sorry, no cosigners), good credit (625 min. credit score) and positive landlord and/or employer references. Applicants cannot have any record of bankruptcies in the last two years or any previous unlawful detainers. We require a separate application for any resident over the age of 18 who will be living at this residence. We also require any resident under the age of 18 to be identified as well. Our office participates in the Pet Screening service, ALL APPLICANTS MUST COMPLETE A PROFILE EVEN IF THERE ARE NO PETS IN THE HOME.
