I've lived here for about 6mo, Marcia and the concierge team are always super helpful and responsive if you need anything. The building is clean, well maintained, and have thick walls, I rarely hear any of my neighbors! This is a pet friendly community, I think multiple pets are allowed per unit. The north building has access to the rooftop lounge, I loved going there to get fresh air especially since I am working from home. The only downside is in Old Town not every street has bike trails (like in parts of Arlington), but Mt Vernon trail is less than a mile away.

We unfortunately had to move (baby coming 😅) But huge shout out to Brittney for answering all of our questions we had Literally a day before thanksgiving and Sean for literally being the best addition to the staff since we moved into the building. This is a perfect location and we are so sad that we had to move and miss the belle pre fam already!!
I waited until a few months of living here to give an honest review, because i know choosing a home is very important. Huge shoutout to the whole team! Thank you Marcia, Gideon, and especially Travis from the start! We toured the building during the Massive snowstorm in January while quite frankly, the whole town of Alexandria was shut down. Travis was there to help us with the whole leasing process after touring the apartments and making sure we had all the right paperwork completed. We dont have a printer in our unit, and Travis and Gideon are always printing out my documents for me within 10 minutes of me sending the email which shows that they are ALWAYS ontop of things. Major Shoutout to Isaiah, Abel & Kwame for responding to all of our Maintenance requests within LESS than 24 hours. Multiple times they have come by and after fixing the issue they will ask you if anything else is of concern as well. You can truly tell they care about the tenants happiness. The front desk team- Devon & another lady i cannot remember her name i am so sorry as well is always so kind and very helpful! Moving across the country was very stressful in itself and The whole Belle Pre team has been extremely accommodating from the start. Bonus- If you’re looking for the best location, at the best price- Belle pre is it! My boyfriend and I walk almost everywhere! Bus systems here are clean and right across from the building which is extremely convenient & the metro is less than a 5 minute walk. Multitude of restaurants right outside the door! The parking situation here is incredible as its locked and gated, & VERY secure. (we were nervous moving up here because of the car break-ins we heard about.) There is SO MUCH natural lighting in these apartments that we rarely have to turn on the actual lights. We constantly have friends moving up to the DMV area due to being a military family and i ALWAYS recommended them to check out Belle pre because you honestly get the best of the best. Thank you so much everyone at Belle pre!!! We truly are Blessed. *Bonus picture* of my cats who love this place as well, they love bird/people watching. (very pet friendly community!)
I lived at 1111 Belle Pre for two years and only left because I decided to move to the District. Overall, it's a great place to live.
The apartments are great and have updated appliances. During my stay, my only real complaint was that the unit often reeked of weed, probably because it was next to the main stairwell. It was unpleasant to come home and suddenly get hit with the stench. To Belle Pre's credit, they called me and told me they want to fix it, but I don't know if that can happen if they don't install better vents.
The building itself is solid. The rooftop is beautiful, the pool is fun, and the gym has everything you need for a standard workout. And the front desk, leasing office, and maintenance staff are fantastic. They're friendly, helpful, and almost always available. They made me happy to live here.
Furthermore, the location is unbeatable. It's a mixed-use development, so you're above restaurants and a nail salon, and I could also walk to Old Town, grocery stores, the post office, and the Metro. I felt very safe walking around, morning or night.
If you're looking for a place to live in Alexandria, you can't go wrong with Belle Pre. If I return to Alexandria without buying a home, I'll try to live here again.

I moved to Belle Pre 3 weeks ago from a place in Chevy Chase. I needed more space and something pet friendly. The unit was in good condition when I arrived except for an issue with a shower door. However, the maintenance team has been very responsive, I and I really have no complaints on that front. I have found the staff to be top notch - from leasing, to maintenance, to the front desk. Certainly made the transition a lot easier. Everyone I've encountered in the building is friendly. And, the location is everything I wanted - one block to the metro stop, 5 minutes to the nearest grocery, 10 minutes to most spots in Old Town, and a ton of restaurants. It's a wonderfully walkable area. While I'm still settling in, I'm certainly happy with my choice thus far.
Love the amenities! The rooftop lounge is a great relaxation spot and good spaces to get work done as well!
1111 Belle Pre has been a pleasure to deal with since my first contact. It started with an extremely positive experience with Travis, when discussing leasing an apartment before my move to the Virginia and DC area from Houston. Travis was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, the entire time. Once I had leased the apartment, and began my move from Houston, Dina was exceptional in communication and making sure that everything I needed upon my arrival was available, especially considering my arrival from the long drive from Houston was going to be in the middle of the night. I spoke with Dina numerous times during the drive from Houston and she showed genuine care and concern every time we spoke making sure everything went smoothly once I arrived at the apartment.
Once I arrived at the apartment and moved in, Ebony and her team at the Concierge are a bright spot everyday when I am leaving for work or returning home after work. They are friendly, positive, helpful and everyday manage more incoming packages everyday than Santa Claus at Christmas time.
In short, my choice of 1111 Belle Pre Apartments has been nothing but positive, from the friendly, knowledgeable people to the professionally maintained grounds and facilities.

Ice maker wasn't working. It turns out that, after troubleshooting Steven found that the compressor was shot! He found and installed a replacement fridge and it works great! Thank you team Belle Pre.
