It is about 40 feet from the street, making it very quiet. This neighborhood is very residential and low density. Beverlywood begins 1/2 block south and is a wonderful, quiet walking neighborhood with beautiful landscaping and homes. Also, there are many restaurants and stores in walking distance. This is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment in a great neighborhood just 2 blocks south of the Beverly Hills City border. It's less than 5 minutes to Century City and about 5 minutes to Culver City. The apartment, which is on the first floor, has a patio that opens from the living room. It has 1 wall air conditioner and 1 wall heater. The flooring is real oak hardwood - not laminate. There is a laundry room in the building that is used by only 3 apartments. There is parking for 2 cars in tandem in the carport. Water and trash is included in the rent. No pets and no smoking. A 1 year lease and 1 month's security deposit is required. This is an older 4 unit building under Los Angeles rent control. This means the rent can only be raised by the amount set by the City once per year which is usually about 2% or 3%. This gives you rent stability. There is a discount of $50 if the rent is paid on or before the first of the month. This apartment is very quiet as there is very little traffic because Rexford Drive ends 1 block south. Also, this apartment is in the middle of the building shielding it from street noise. The lovely Beverlywood residential neighborhood begins at the next block. The homes and landscaping are pretty and make for very pleasant walking. The immediate area has fairly low density, but is also very close to shops and public transportation.
