The Finn Lofts building was built in the 1920s to be a broom factory before John Finn, the building’s namesake, purchased it in 1971. Finn is known among the Wichita art community because, at one time, he owned 6 buildings on Commerce Street and carried the notes for artists so they could lease-to-own the warehouses.
