Don't be lured in by Skiles and their low rent prices. The ONLY perks of living at this place was that it was close to everything, cable and Internet were included, and it's relatively cheap (at least compared to other places in town.) Most of the people in the complex were good people, and I wish them well. Others... Not so much. The police were called multiple times in the last couple of months that I lived here because residents/their guests got belligerently drunk and screamed. At 3 am. Yes this happened often. The laundry facility was a total joke, too. The washers and dryers were ALWAYS breaking down. Management will try to nickel and dime the HECK out of you--even for things that are out of your control. One time they tried to charge me $50 for "denying them entry" when 1. I wasn't home 2. They had a key 3. My doorknob was fault to begin with 4. I didn't even HAVE a top lock (but I was supposed to. I pointed that out to them and they quickly installed a BS plastic lock lol. But they did do something about the situation, at least.) Oh, and lest I forget: THERE WERE RATS. RATS. IN MY CEILING. One of them was in my kitchen. MANAGEMENT DID NOTHING ABOUT THEM. Maintenance gave us a trap and sealed the hole we found with steel wool. It was a mess. Take lots of pictures when you move in and deep clean the place if you decide to live here, because they don't do jack about preparing the place beforehand and they will try to charge you for eeeeeverything (even though these apartments are old as heck.) Sorry that this is lengthy but it all needs to be said. You couldn't pay me to live in this complex again or deal with Skiles/AMS ever again.
