Been living in Tampa with the family for several years and Sunscape is by far the best apartment in Tampa thus far. Quiet, clean and overall peaceful unlike other places where drugs, theft and fights are common. Christine and Jenniene have always been happy and respectful to us when we come to the office in every known way helping with any issues that may come up from payment glitches, documentations concerning leasing and to letting us know our packages have arrived. Richard is by far the most respectful and professional maintenance person we have ever seen seeing to any major issues get fixed as quickly as possibly can be. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great place to live.
Came in early about 9:30 am 06/02/24 spoke with Alicia Young. She was so wonderful, patient and polite. I came in and filled out paperwork for a 1-bedroom apartment everything went smoothly. I am hoping to be able to be a part of this wonderful community everything was very nice from inside to out and even all the staff. Thank you, Alicia, for your wonderful customer service and I am hoping to move-in and meet with you again.
UPDATE: Moved in ! LOVE MY APARTMENT ALL MY NEIGHBORS ARE ALSO VERY NICE LOVE THE POOL AREA AS WELL LOTS OF FOOD PLACES AND GROCERY STORES TO SHOP AT VERY CLOSE BY. MAINTENANCE IS AMAZING AND QUICK IF NEEDED.
I've lived at Sunscape for the past 4 years and just renewed my lease for another year. This is such a hidden gem of a place on Fletcher. The staff, Christina, Jeanine, and Richard, have made this a really incredible property to stay at. They are always extremely positive and helpful for any issue that may come up. Somehow Christina remembers every single tenants name AND their pets too, which is so sweet. And Richard responds extremely quickly for any maintenance issue that may arise.
The property itself is well maintained, all the other tenants are respectful of one another and it is quite quiet overall. The property managers have made improvements over the years that I've lived here including repainting buildings, installing new brighter building lights, and re-doing the balconies. I've never felt unsafe living here. The property is surrounded by other businesses so shopping is conveniently located.
When I moved to this apartment I worked with Christina and signed a lease on blind faith having never seen the apartment (moved from a different state) and it ended up working out so well! The apartments are nice, pest control is kept on top of, and they come with in-unit washer and dryers which is a major plus in my book. Compared to other apartments in the area they are reasonably priced for what they come with. Plus the apartments are pet friendly which was a must for me. I can't recommend Sunscape and the amazing staff highly enough.
Out of all the Florida apartments I've had (both in Tampa and Orlando), this was by far the best one I ever had. I moved in during April, so with COVID going on, this apartment experience was definitely unique. There was no apartment tour or anything like that. But I worked with Christina in the office, and she happily answered all the questions I had, plus provided pictures of what the apartment would look like. I signed the lease on blind faith, never having seen a unit. I'm glad I did. The apartment ended up being perfect, and it was in great shape.
Although pest control hadn't come while I was there (due to COVID), I never saw a single bug inside my unit. Just a few love bugs that had come in from outside. This was a first. Normally apartments in Florida come with roaches and other critters, but this unit did not. I was amazed!
The valet service included was great (and free). This apartment also includes a washing machine and dryer for free, right in the unit as well. And all for one low rent price as well!! The gate at the front of the complex works as well (stayed at so many where it was broken and never fixed), and I always felt safe in my unit, day and night. I also loved the fact that they had recycling bins next to the dumpster. First apartment I've been at that had that. Thank you!
I have to give a shout-out to Richard, the maintenance worker. Boy, does he work hard and he knows what he's doing! Whenever there was a problem, he was pretty much immediately and magically at my apartment in minutes. He was super nice, explained what he was doing, and was very thorough. Best maintenance worker I've ever seen!!
And one HUGE shout-out again to Christina, the property manager. This girl was born to do this! Every step of the way, she was super nice and went above and beyond what she needed to do. The first time I finally met her, it felt like we had been best friends forever :)
After moving out (no fault with the apartment complex, I moved into my boyfriend's house), the security deposit did take a little bit due to a mix-up with the address, but I did receive it in the full amount (which I've noticed is a rare thing here in Florida), so I was completely happy.
All in all, I was beyond satisfied with this apartment (and the staff) and could not recommend this place enough! Ten out of ten stars!! Thank you so much Sunscape for the great time while I was there. If I ever need another apartment in my future, this is definitely the one I'll be returning to!

Just moved out after living here for 7 years, I loved this place so much, the staff are all friendly, maintenance is always very fast and good. I will miss Richard for being the best maintenance guy, don't think I'll be lucky enough to get another like him again! The complex itself is very nice, never had any major bug problems, there's nice ponds, cute ducks, some good shops/restaurants nearby too. Only reason we left is because we had to move out of state! Now I'll always be nostalgic for Sunscape.

Richard the maintenance supervisor meticulously maintains the property. The grounds are always clean and any trouble tickets are handled promptly. Christina the Leasing manager is so friendly and always super helpful.
The people in the complex make this a true community! The tenants are super friendly and look out for each other. The valet trash service is always a plus. 5 Stars and Would recommend.
As a new resident of Sunscape, I enjoy living here so much. Great view. Fast maintenance. Everyone is friendly. Especially thank the leasing agent Alicia Young who is such a nice lady and helped me a lot. Recommended.

I have lived here for several years and a few months ago renewed my lease for another year! This place is wonderful and such a hidden gem. I had bad experiences in the past with other apartments in Florida, but not this one! The staff is outstanding. Everyone that I have dealt with is kind, polite, efficient and all-around awesome! My neighbors are friendly, kind and we look out for one another. The property is continuously maintained, clean and inviting. I feel privileged to have called this place home for so long. I highly recommend living here!
2022 Update: I continue to love my time living here. I recently had some maintenance requests that needed attention, and I am extremely grateful to both Richard and Christina for how quickly they acted to help resolve the requests. Thank you both so much! You are both truly assets to Sunscape and make living here so wonderful! Thank you again!
