It is quiet, light-filled and new but located centrally with easy access to public transportation. It's in San Mateo at the Edge of Burlingame and you can walk to either downtown. You can access SF, Silicon Valley, or Oakland in short order with a car or public transportation. There is a shopping plaza w/ Starbucks and 24-hr Safeway across the street from our apartment, so you will be able to cook with our Le Creuset pans and stay caffeinated easily. But you won't want to miss the Burlingame and San Mateo downtown restaurants that are some of the best in the Bay Area. If you are traveling with a child, we have a pack-n-play, toys, and books that you can borrow - just let us know. Sorry - no pets are allowed. Guest Access Guests will have access to the 2nd floor apt through a private entrance which has a spacious, sunny deck. You'll have a full, eat-in kitchen and dining area along with the one bedroom and bathroom. The apartment has wifi with a desk and workspace. It also has a new 50" flat panel TV connected to the Internet so you can access your shows. Perfect for getting work done while also living comfortably. The apartment was updated six months ago, has never been lived in and is just waiting to be enjoyed! Interaction with Guests The apartment is accessed by a stairway alongside the driveway that is shared with the downstairs unit, which is our home. Guests may interact when passing through the driveway and we're always happy to lend a few tips on food and transportation. Please note: the unit is not wheelchair accessible and is not suited for someone who has difficulty climbing stairs. The Neighborhood San Mateo is one of the fastest growing and energetic cities on the peninsula. It has one of the most vibrant downtowns in the area, similar to Palo Alto.
